Live-Chat Tool Ascend by Wix
If you use the live chat tool to contact us, the data voluntarily entered by you (name, email address, message) will be processed in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of answering the inquiry as part of contract processing. Additionally, the use of this tool serves our legitimate interests in effective and improved customer communication within the scope of an interest balancing, as per Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. The data will be deleted afterward. The live chat tool is provided by Wix.com Ltd., 40 Namal Tel Aviv St., Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel ("Wix"), acting on our behalf. Wix uses servers in Israel. The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for Israel. In addition, Wix uses servers in the USA, South Korea, Taiwan, and other countries outside the EU and EEA, for which no adequacy decision of the European Commission is available. Our cooperation with Wix is based on the standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.
2.2 Data Processing for Appointment Booking
We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of an appointment booking. Mandatory fields are marked as such because we need this data for the appointment booking and you cannot send the appointment booking without providing this information. The data collected can be found in the respective input forms. Entries in free-text fields are voluntary and do not need to be filled out mandatorily for sending the appointment booking. We request that you refrain from providing sensitive data (e.g., health-related information such as illnesses) in such free-text fields.
We use the data provided by you for appointment booking in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR. After complete processing of the booked appointment, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of any tax and commercial retention periods, as per Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR or we reserve the right to further use data beyond that, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this Privacy Policy.
Calendly Appointment Booking Solution
For the purpose of appointment booking, we use a booking solution provided by Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA (address as a data processor/data importer: 88 N Avondale Road #603, Avondale Estates, GA 30002, USA). The service provider acts on our behalf. Our service provider and/or their subprocessors are located and/or use servers in the USA. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for the USA. Our cooperation with them is based on the standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. Data transfer may be made to a third country/third countries for which the European Commission has not established an adequacy decision due to the use of additional features of our service provider. An adequate level of data protection is ensured by the conclusion of standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
3. Data Processing for the Purpose of Delivery Handling:
For the purpose of contract fulfillment in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we will pass on your data to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.
3.1 Data Processing for Payment Handling
We cooperate with the following partners for the processing of payments in our online shop: technical service providers, banks, payment service providers.
3.1 Data Processing for Transaction Processing
Depending on the selected payment method, we will pass on the data necessary for processing the payment transaction to our technical service providers working for us as part of processing on our behalf, or to the commissioned banks or the selected payment service provider, to the extent necessary for processing the payment.
